Honest test: should you actually migrate?

We're not anti-Shopify. We're against paying for it when you've outgrown it. Here's the cleanest way to tell which side of the line you're on.

Add it up for 36 months

Subscription + app fees + per-transaction fees, over the next three years. If that number is bigger than a custom build with hosting, migration is the cheaper move. If not, stay.

Count the workarounds

If your team has more than two "we do this in a spreadsheet because Shopify can't" workflows, custom buys back the time. If you have zero, Shopify is fine.

Check the data lock-in

Could you leave today if you wanted to? If your customer list, order history, and email automations are trapped inside Shopify and its apps, you don't really own the business — you rent it.

What the migration actually includes.

Catalog migration

Every product, variant, image, collection, and SEO URL — moved to the new store with redirects in place so you don't lose ranking.

Customer + order history

Every customer account, every historical order, with the same email addresses so re-purchase flows and identity all keep working.

Payments + direct merchant

We help you set up a direct merchant account — lower per-transaction rates, no platform surcharge on top of card processing.

Replatformed apps

The half-dozen apps you're currently paying monthly for — review them, build the ones you need into the core store, drop the ones you don't.

We've done this. Here's one example.
